Name: Revan Llane
Title: Captain of the Victorious Storm, Rogue Family: None Weapon(s): Cat Claws Pet(s): Bob - Turtle Story: The story of Revan Llane was what you might expect of a Meereenesse orphan. He grew up on the streets a boy who was outside of the law more then within it. He studied the arts of thieving from the best thieves in all of the city, and he could pick a pocket before he grew chest hair. When he came of age however, he found his calling on the sea. Starting as a cabin boy he learned all of life's lessons. Life was not fair, and it would never be. The only thing that made life worth living was making sure you had your ducks in a row, did good by those who needed it, who you could help. And never play the hero. Bad things happen to hero's! When he became first mate about a merchant ship, his captain was a man who had taught Revan to live the life to find his mermaid. Told the story from his time as a young boy, there was a mermaid out there for each Captain and that was why the captain sailed. Till he found that mermaid who was meant for him. Revan came upon the Lady Lyricsana Storm within a brothel in Qarth. She would find him with a girl in his lap, much too young to be in a brothel never the less, he was spending good gold to keep her in his lap. Barely twelve if that, and nearly naked he would keep her sitting there as she was joining him, talking and eating. At one point a man had come over, angry he was keeping the pretty little whore to himself and not fucking her. The disagreement over his selfishness ended in a fist fight, and Revan getting tossed out by the guards with the others he was fighting with. Lyricsana and Victor Creed had bought him a drink, and discovered he hated the idea of a girl so young being treated as a pleasure tool and though Victor could not buy the girl, Revan did secret her from the brothel that night. If asked, Revan will admit he is not a good man, but he does well enough for himself. He now captains the Victorious Storm, doing want errands Victor or Lyric needs of him and when he is not, he is seeing to himself, and doing what he needs to do to balance the scales of fate at the end. Everyone owes a debt to someone, for something, he is hoping in the end when he goes to whatever life is beyond this one... he will like what he sees. |
