Name: Atreus "the Reclaimer" Lannister
Position: Lord of Casterly Rock, Commander of the Lannister Forces Family: Eva Baratheon - Betrothed, Marcus Lannister - Father, Calissa Lanister - Mother, Calista Lannister - Sister, Ravenna Lannister - Sister, Portia Lannister - Cousin, Peyton Lannister - Cousin Weapon(s): Brightroar Pet: His sisters if you ask him Story - Born the second son to Marcus and Calissa Lannister Atreus had taken a back seat in his fathers eyes. His elder brother gaining all the advantage of their fathers attention. The best Maesters, the best swordsmen, all his fathers money could buy went to the eldest boy as he was grooming his legacy. Atreus settled for what he was allowed to do, and learned much on his own. Practiced with the soldiers instead of knights in combat and so his skills were not like his brothers. As they grew older his father began to Atreus as a live training dummy to give his brother semblance of combat. But due to his woeful training he could not match his brother in combat. Finally his father, tired of the embarrassment, turned from Atreus, telling him he could begin his new job of maintenance of Casterly Rock at the age of 15. Hating the idea of being written off as unimportant, and worthless as nothing more than a sewage cleaner Atreus left his mother a note. "Mother, I can no longer stand being the shameful lion of Casterly Rock. I am leaving for Essos, for Valyria. Following the trail of Tommen the Second, I aim to do as a few have dared amongst our family. I aim to reclaim Brightroar or die trying. Either way, father will never need worry about me. Please explain it to Calista, and Ravenna, see neither worry too much for me. Always your devoted son, with love, Atreus." For three years no one had heard from Atreus, neither note nor rumor. Believing him lost his father and mother held a funeral ceremony. Small and quiet. His parents, his sisters and brother in attendance and a Maester to say a few pretty words. A tomb in his name erected, and his sisters crying more than anyone else. It was during the ceremony Atreus arrived home. Walking in upon he ended that charade with a single sentence. "Who died?" When his family looked upon him, gone was the scrawny, clumsy boy, and in his place, a full grown man.Toned, and armored in the armor of the free cities, strapped to his back, the legendary Valyrian Steel sword Brightroar. The joy in his sisters faces, and his mother was enough to make him glad he returned home. His fathers attitude changed most of all. His father who doubted him, and wrote him off, was forced to recognize the great deed his son had performed. Giving him the title of "the Reclaimer" he was put in charge of the forces who he had grown up loving as family. Now he must take on a new challenge, more daunting than any he has ever faced.... Marriage... to a Baratheon. Cassana in a day has already changed him completely... he cannot wait to see what new experience each day with her brings. |
